Reminder that the woman who started “Gender Reveal Parties” as a trend did so because she had been having miscarraiges and wanted to celebrate finally getting to know the sex of one of her pregnancies. And she is actually very much bothered by the cis-normative celebration of traditional gender roles its turned out to be.

And she is already explaining to her daughter concepts of gender identity and is an outspoken ally to trans and nonbinary people.
